Privacy Policy for CuppaKin

The short version

CuppaKin helps households take care of each other. To do that, we collect a small amount of information about you. We don't sell it, we don't share it with advertisers, and we only use it to make the app work.

What we collect

Information you give us directly:

• Your email address (used to sign in via magic link)

• Your display name

• Household data you create: tasks, appreciations, rituals, and care preferences

• Any content you type into the app

Information collected automatically:

• Basic usage data to help us understand how the app is being used and fix bugs

• Device information (device type, iOS version) for troubleshooting

• Push notification tokens if you enable notifications

We do not collect your precise location. We do not access your contacts, camera, or microphone.

How we use it

• To operate the app and sync data across your household

• To send you magic link sign-in emails

• To deliver push notifications you've opted into

• To understand how people use the app so we can improve it

We do not use your data to serve you ads. We do not sell your data to third parties. Ever.

Who we share it with

CuppaKin is built on a small number of third-party services that help us operate:

• Supabase — our database and authentication provider. Your data is stored on Supabase's servers. supabase.com/privacy

• Resend — used to deliver magic link emails. resend.com/privacy

• OneSignal — used to deliver push notifications if you've enabled them. onesignal.com/privacy

We do not share your data with anyone else.

Your household's data

CuppaKin is designed around households. When you join a household, other members of that household can see the tasks, appreciations, and rituals you create within that household. This is intentional — it's how the app works. You control what you add to your household.

Data retention

We keep your data for as long as your account is active. If you'd like to delete your account and all associated data, contact us at privacy@cuppakin.com and we'll take care of it within 30 days.

Children

CuppaKin is not intended for children under 13. We do not knowingly collect data from anyone under 13.

Changes to this policy

If we make meaningful changes to this policy, we'll let you know through the app or by email. The "last updated" date at the top will always reflect the current version.
